Kia PV5 Electric Van Unvield In Several Configuration

Date:

Kia has revealed photos of the production-ready PV5 electric van, giving us a look at their futuristic lineup. This is the first model in Kia’s upcoming lineup of purpose-built electric vans that is expected to shake up the growing electric vehicle market. More technical details, breakdowns, and photos will be available at the end of the month.

The PV5 will be available in several configurations, including a passenger model and a cargo model. Like the all the newest electric vehicles on the market, the PV5 features a bold and futuristic-like design.

The electric van will join Kia’s lineup and was first seen at last year’s CES; now after the reveal, it looks virtually identical to the original concept. From the images that Kia had released, both the passenger and cargo versions front ends are simple, and a tall and flat profile assures that there is enough headroom.

Kia’s passenger version has huge glass windows stretching to the van’s back, while the cargo version blocks out the panel. Notable features on the passenger van include a lift-up tailgate; the cargo van has twin side-opening doors.

Details on the powertrain and the interior details haven’t been disclosed yet, but we will be waiting for the photos and more details to come out as Kia has scheduled to reveal more about the new van on February 24, just a few days from now. During that day, Kia says that it will be launching yet another model.
